ベルギーのプラズマ物理会議にて常温核融合のサテライトミーティング開催
仕事の方が忙しくて、結局、４月は一つも記事を書けませんでした。その間に、E-Catの３５０日間テストが終わったり、その結果を巡ってロッシ氏がインダストリアル・ヒート社を訴えたりと非常に重要な動きがあったのですが、それは後回しにしてそれ以外のニュースを書いて調子を取り戻したいと思います。

After the media attention of the Pons and Fleishmann “Cold Fusion” announcement in 1989, the activity in this field of research, presently called Low Energy Nuclear Reaction or LENR, appeared to have withered over the following years at least from the point of view of the “main stream scientists”.
However, today, there is worldwide still a relatively small community of researchers trying to characterise the source of the observed Anomalous Heat Effect (AHE) as well as to improve the conditions for reproducibility while seeking to understand what is going on. Here is a phenomenon, reproducible, albeit not easily, with demonstrated hallmarks of nuclear reactions where none are expected and for which there is no trivial explanation today. It is a scientist's dream: to be at the frontier, at the confrontation of observations and theories that do not predict or explain this yet, trying to unravel what nature appears to be able to make happen unexpectedly thereby possibly opening new avenues to physics and science (cfr. Max Planck and the birth of quantum physics).

ロックフェラー家基金が化石燃料への投資中止を表明
以下のようなニュースが流れていました。石油で大成功したロックフェラー家が石油を含む化石燃料関連投資を中止すると言ってます。
気になるのは、なぜ、ロックフェラー家がこのタイミングで撤退を決めたかという事です。
Sifferkollのブログには、常温核融合（LENR）への移行計画の一環ではないかとの推測が出ています。さて、真相はどうでしょうか？

EGO OUTの記事を見て知った動画です。以下のコメントにあるように、１９９４年５月３１日に「Good Morning America」という番組で放映されたもので、フライシュマン博士とポンズ博士のインタビューが含まれています。
注目したいのは、このインタビューが行われた実験施設が、アイシン精機の研究所であるフランスのIMRA Europe社だと思われることです。山口栄一博士のインタビューも収録されています（動画の３分１９秒あたりから）。初期の常温核融合研究を支えたのがアイシン精機とIMRA社であったことはもっと知られて欲しい話だと思います。

参加申し込みのページを見ると、３月中旬から受付予定となっているので、たぶんもう少しすると受付が始まると思われます（以下はそのページからの引用です）。７万円は個人の趣味で参加するには（笑）、ちょっと高いなぁと思いますが、一週間ぶっ通しの国際会議ですからこの位は仕方ないですね。どういった方々が参加されるのか今から楽しみです。

以下の記事で書いた専門家による長期テスト報告書（通称ERV報告：Expert Responsible for Validation）が発行されると言われていた３月１８日を過ぎてしまいました。
この件については、Mats氏が「The e-mail I received from JT Vaughn was sent in CC to an individual at the global public affairs and strategic communications consultancy firm APCO Worldwide. 」と記しており、APCO Worldwideが何らかの関与をしていると見られています。
APCO Worldwideとの関係性を掘り下げているのが以下の記事なのですが、私の読解力では及びません。国際政治に詳しい方の解説を期待したいです。

Looking For Heat社が常温核融合の実験キットの販売を開始しましたが、この実験キットを使って過剰熱生成実験を始めた人がレポートを書いて公開し始めました。まだキャリブレーション中みたいですが、今後の実験に期待したいですね。
