今日の常温核融合研究は、1989年3月23日にイギリス・サウサンプトン大学のマーティン・フライシュマン博士とアメリカ・ユタ大学のスタンレー・ポンズ博士が、記者会見を開いた所から始まります。今回は、それからちょうど25週年に当たるため、世界中から著名な研究者を招いて、豪華な講演が予定されています。
以下、スケジュールから引用します(赤字は引用者による)。綺羅星の如き発表が並んでいるので目移りしますね。日本からは、岩村康彦博士と水野忠彦博士の名前が挙がっています。ヴィソツキー博士の「Observations of Biophysical Effects from Cold Fusion」はもしかすると微生物による核変換に関する発表かもしれません。「Review of cavitation x-ray emission experiments」ではキャビテーションを取り上げているようです。注目したいと思います。
